SUMMARY:Sophie Zelmani
LOCATION:Allhelgonakyrkan\, Helgalunden 9\, 11858 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Church tour with Sophie Zelmani Sophie Zelmani has been consi
stent in her creative work in many ways over the years.\n\nHer music\, di
stinctive voice and personal style are recognisable a mile off.\n\nShe ha
s also consistently performed with a full band\, always with the same mus
icians.\n\nBut when the idea of a church tour emerged\, it became clear t
hat these spaces called for a different musical setting.\n\nOn this tour\
, Sophie will perform with her producer and guitarist Lars Halapi\, just
the two of them as a duo\, working with the church acoustics.\n\nThis als
o calls for a set list of its own\, featuring songs that may be better su
ited to this setting than to previous ones\, or songs that need a new arr
angement to work in a church.
