DESCRIPTION:FlamencoFredag and Mötesplats Mariatorget present a full eve
 ning where flamenco meets jazz\, Latin American rhythms and world music.\
 n\nFlamencamiento Global Trio perform original music by guitarist and com
 poser Yannick Corre. Together with Cuban double bassist Gastón Joya and 
 Venezuelan percussionist Julio Alcocer\, he creates a warm\, organic soun
 d drawing on jazz\, Latin jazz\, Cuban trova and traditional Latin Americ
 an rhythms.\n\nThe music is characterised by improvisation\, responsivene
 ss and close interplay between three world-class musicians. The name Flam
 encamiento Global alludes to the expression “global warming” and desc
 ribes a constantly evolving flamenco format – open to new forms of expr
 ession and cultural encounters.\n\nAfter the concert\, the evening contin
 ues with a tablao set of traditional flamenco featuring house band Tres d
