 an İpekçioğlu\, his real name – is one of the most influential voice
 s in Turkish rap\, with a strong impact on the German scene too. Born and
  raised in Ankara and now based in Berlin\, he has been shaped by a wide 
 range of influences: hip-hop\, reggae and Anatolian rock – a mix that a
 lso defines his own sound. He began freestyling and making his mark in un
 derground battles as a teenager\, quickly developing his style and presen
 ce.\n\nHis breakthrough came with his debut album “Müptezhel”\, whic
 h became a phenomenon in Turkey. On the record\, Ezhel blends rap with el
 ements of reggae and trap\, delivering lyrics that are both raw and incis
 ive – exploring urban life\, social issues and the realities facing you
 ng people. Tracks such as “Şehrimin Tadı” and “Geceler” gave vo
 ice to a generation’s frustrations and dreams\, establishing Ezhel as a
  distinctive voice for Turkish youth.\n\nAt the same time\, his career ha
 s been marked by controversies and legal challenges – including arrests
  linked to interpretations of his lyrics – which\, if anything\, streng
 thened his position. Ezhel came to symbolise resistance and freedom of ex
