SUMMARY:Hellmare - gästas av Lloyd Kaufman
LOCATION:Zita Folkets Bio\, Stockholm\, Birger Jarlsgatan 37\, 11145 Stoc
 kholm
DESCRIPTION:LLOYD KAUFMAN INTRODUCES THE FILM!\n\nWHEN YOU GET SUCKED INT
O THE FILM AND CAN'T SWITCH IT OFF\n\nIt's 1997 in Detroit. A group of fr
iends gather in a newly inherited house to watch a rare horror flick on V
HS: Hellmare\, about a disfigured killer with a horse's head. During a th
understorm\, they are sucked into the film – and have to fight both Hel
lmare and the villains from the trailers that played before the film.\n\n
Victor Gabriel (Blood Gorge\, Cruel) delivers a deliberately unambitious\
, maximalist love letter to 90s video shop horror and the spirit of Evil
Dead. The film was made for under $15\,000\, with practical gore effects
and a cameo by Lloyd Kaufman as the dead occultist grandfather. Victor Ga
briel wanted to make something fun after an era of trauma metaphors: more
Creepshow than Hereditary.\n\nHellmare is messy\, meta and very much on
 target.\n\nSections: TROMA-RETRO\n\nGenre: Horror\, Comedy\n\nDirector: V
 ictor Gabriel\n\nCountry: USA\n\nYear: 2026\n\nCast: Laura Reyes\, Ali Is
 sa\, Brandon Voight\, CJ Patterson\, Lloyd Kaufman\n\nRunning time: 80 mi
 n\n\nLanguage: English dialogue\, English subtitles
