LOCATION:Zita Folkets Bio\, Stockholm\, Birger Jarlsgatan 37\, 11145 Stoc
 kholm
DESCRIPTION:LLOYD KAUFMAN visiting in person. Q&A after the film\n\nLESBI
AN BLOGGERS SAVE THE WORLD IN A RADIOACTIVE SCHOOL COMEDY\n\nWelcome back
to Tromaville High. The glee club has mutated into the violent gang The
Cretins. Chrissy and Lauren\, two teenage bloggers in love\, must fight m
utants\, bullies and the evil company Tromorganic Foodstuffs. Can they
 – and Kevin the duck – save the school and the world?\n\nIn 2013\, Ll
oyd Kaufman returned to the radioactive school from Class of Nuke ’Em H
igh (1986) and made a two-part “event film” at Quentin Tarantino’s
suggestion. Volume 1 is a gleefully messy\, politically incorrect and sur
prisingly heartfelt horror comedy about the food industry\, bullying and
queer love.\n\nCatherine Corcoran (later in Terrifier) and Asta Paredes c
arry the film. Lemmy Kilmister appears as the US president. Just as Troma
should be: bodily fluids\, social satire and a duck.\n\nSections: TROMA-
 RETRO\n\nGenre: Comedy\, Horror\, Sci-Fi\, Cult Classic\n\nDirector: Lloy
 d Kaufman\n\nCountry: USA\n\nYear: 2013\n\nCast: Catherine Corcoran\, Ast
 a Paredes\, Clay von Carlowitz\, Zac Amico\n\nRunning time: 85 min\n\nLan
 guage: English dialogue\, English subtitles
