DESCRIPTION:Saul Williams comes to Sweden in spring 2027 – taking the s

thor and actor Saul Williams comes to Debaser on 22 March. With his new a
lbum Leap Life behind him\, expect an evening where spoken word\, hip-hop
\, jazz and experimental music meet in Williams’ distinctive musical un
iverse.\n\nFor nearly three decades\, Saul Williams has been an uncomprom
ising and influential voice at the intersection of music\, poetry\, liter
ature and film. He made his international breakthrough with the award-win
ning film SLAM\, which helped bring slam poetry to a global audience\, an
d has since performed in over 30 countries and at venues including Sydney
Opera House\, Lincoln Center and Louvren.\n\nAs a musician\, Williams ha
s collaborated and toured with artists including Nine Inch Nails\, The Ro

the boundaries between spoken word\, jazz\, hip-hop\, ambient and West A
frican rhythms. His voice moves between speech\, singing\, improvisation
and chanting – sometimes like an instrument\, sometimes like a sermon a
nd sometimes almost like an incantation.\n\nIn March\, Swedish audiences
