 ’s best-known – and most varied – styles.\n\nOver the course of the
  evening\, we’ll taste six different IPAs and APAs in a range of styles
  and explain why two beers both called IPA can taste completely different
 . What sets a classic West Coast apart from a modern\, hazy and fruity IP
 A? Where does the bitterness come from? What role does malt play\, and ho
 w can different hop varieties offer everything from citrus and tropical f
 ruit to resin\, herbs and spice?\n\nWe won’t stop at what’s in the gl
 asses. We’ll smell and taste the raw ingredients and talk about how the
 y influence the finished beer. It will be a relaxed tasting with plenty o
 f room for questions\, discussion and\, hopefully\, a few new discoveries
