SUMMARY:Pascal + The Barbwires
LOCATION:Fållan\, Stora Skorstensgatan 6\, 12162 Johanneshov
DESCRIPTION:Doors 19:00\n\nConcert starts 20:00\n\nPascal\n\nPascal recen
tly celebrated 20 years as a band and are currently in the spotlight with
their acclaimed album Tänker på dig jämt. The record has been describ
ed as the band's most uncompromising yet – an intense and brilliant dis
play of desperate\, clattering\, edgy rock music\, brimming with more fru
stration than ever before. Since their debut\, Pascal have released seven
studio albums and firmly established themselves as one of Sweden's most
uncompromising and idiosyncratic rock bands. Just over a year after two s
old-out shows at Debaser\, Pascal return to Stockholm for their first gig
at Fållan. This will be the band's biggest Stockholm show to date.\n\nS
upport: The Barbwires\n\nIn a country where Hawaii long meant nothing mor
e than tinned pineapple on pizza and surfing was something you did with a
sail\, The Barbwires dreamed of a coastline all their own.\n\nFor three
decades\, they have cultivated their distinctive Baltic surf sound\, equa
l parts dream and reality\, inspired by Torö's rugged\, stony beaches so
uth of Stockholm.\n\nSince the start\, the band has consisted of Mike Bar
bwire\, Kalle Fornia and Xota Ere (J.R).\n\nPerhaps it is their love of t
he cold\, dark waves that binds the bands together. They have certainly c
licked\, and after The Barbwires and Pascal played together at Gröna Lun
d last summer\, the feeling was mutual: both bands wanted to do it again.
On 9 April\, it happens at Fållan.
