out the age restriction: https://slakthusen.se/aldersgr…\n\nJohnny Dyna
mite is a Philadelphia-based post-punk artist signed to Born Losers Recor
ds. Over his first three albums\, Johnny Dynamite has established himself
as a concise storyteller and songwriter. The characters in Johnny’s dr
eam world are clear-sighted\, manic and steeped in nostalgia. Against a b
ackdrop of dark\, atmospheric instrumental arrangements\, his anguished v
ocals and lyrics paint a picture of lost youth\, hopeless romance and tee
nage rebellion.\n\nDynamite blends many different genres and connects dif
ferent strands of subculture: equal parts glossy new wave and grand rock
 ’n’ roll. Johnny’s distinctive\, rhythm-centred production style is
built on hard-hitting drum machines\, 80s-style guitar riffs and etherea
l retro synth sounds. His sound has been compared to established acts suc
h as Pet Shop Boys\, INXS and The Cure\, as well as more contemporary act
s such as MGMT and M83.
