 25–26 September\, he performs two sold-out "Akust-ish" concerts at Söd
 ra Teatern – two evenings where the songs\, stories and emotions took c
 entre stage. Now he is taking the concept further\, heading out on tour a
 cross the country this spring.\n\n– "The set-up isn't entirely acoustic
 \, but ish\," says Newkid himself about the format.\n\nAnd perhaps that i
 s precisely the essence of it. A stripped-back stage presentation without
  losing the energy or grandeur of the music – a space where the songs c
 an breathe in a new way\, and where the audience gets closer to both the 
 music and the person behind it.\n\nWith over 15 years of music behind him
 \, Newkid now invites audiences to a more personal encounter. From early 
 hip-hop and R&B influences to the big pop songs that have been streamed o
 ver half a billion times – the music takes on a new form: intimate\, vu
 lnerable and honest.\n\nHe is also currently promoting his EP Powerballad
 er\, released earlier this spring\, on which he continues to explore big 
 emotions\, strong melodies and stories about love\, doubt and finding you
