DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the full moon in autumn (known in Japanese as "Ts
 ukimi"\, 月見\, or “moon-viewing”) is a special tradition in Japan 
 dating back to the Heian period (794–1185). The Japanese art of the tea
  ceremony (Chado\, 茶道) also includes a particular tea procedure for t
 his occasion\, which Japanska Thesällskapet will demonstrate.\n\nThe pro
 cedure is called Tsuki-demae\, and the tea host keeps all the utensils in
  a small box. It can be performed anywhere\, including outdoors in nature
  with the full moon in the night sky. This is one of four different proce
 dures using small tea boxes (chabako)\, each associated with a different 
 season.\n\nJapanska Thesällskapet will explain the historical background
  to the procedure and various symbols that evoke autumn and the time of t
 he full moon.
