DESCRIPTION:Corazón de Milagrito (the miracle heart) or Sagrado Corazón
  (the Sacred Heart) is an iconic symbol in Mexican folk art. The heart sy
 mbolises\, among other things\, gratitude\, hope\, love\, healing and spi
 ritual miracles\, and is often used as a protective amulet or decorative 
 ornament. The heart is often made of metal\, wood or ceramics and beautif
 ully decorated.\n\nDuring the workshop\, we will create our own personali
 sed miracle heart. We will work with metal foil\, a soft and pliable mate
 rial\, and create different patterns\, textures and reliefs using simple 
 tools.\n\nWe will work from our own sketches or ready-made templates. Tho
 se who wish can also colour their heart.\n\nThe workshop is led by Nina L
 azaroff.\n\nAge limit: 15 years
