DESCRIPTION:Newkid is taking “Akust-ish” on tour this spring\n\nAfter
  years on big stages\, with pyrotechnics and productions designed to feel
  larger than life itself\, Newkid is doing something new: he’s coming c
 loser.\n\nOn 25–26 September\, he will perform two sold-out “Akust-is
 h” concerts at Södra Teatern – two evenings where the songs\, storie
 s and feeling took centre stage. Now he’s taking the concept further\, 
 and this spring he’s setting off on a tour around the country.\n\n– 
 “The setup isn’t entirely acoustic\, but ish\,” Newkid says of the 
 format.\n\nAnd perhaps that’s exactly where the essence lies. A pared-b
 ack stage style without losing the energy or grandeur of the music – a 
 space where the songs can breathe in a new way\, and where the audience c
 an get closer both to the music and to the person behind it.\n\nWith more
  than 15 years of music behind him\, Newkid is now inviting audiences to 
 a more personal encounter. From early hip-hop and R&B influences to the b
 ig pop songs that have been streamed more than half a billion times – t
 he music takes on a new form: intimate\, vulnerable and honest.\n\nHe is 
 also currently promoting the EP Powerballader\, released earlier this spr
 ing\, where he continues to explore big feelings\, strong melodies and st
 ories about love\, doubt and finding your way home.\n\nTickets for the
