SUMMARY:Canasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2
LOCATION:Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra\, Brunnsgatan 4\, 11138 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:The dilapidated old house that was once Hotell Lymfnoden has
been seized by the Swedish Enforcement Authority\, which has failed to se
ll it. It is now inhabited by Einar\, who is objectum-sexual and was prev
iously a guest at the hotel\, and his girlfriend\, the water tank Monika.
\n\nLeif\, an enforcement inspector with a dark past and a keen interest
in racket sports\, also finds it hard to tear himself away from the house
. The truth is\, he lives there most of the time.\n\nThe municipality has
hired psychiatrist Rainer and peer support worker Bubba to try to bring
order to the psychosocial environment. In the middle of it all crawls Geg
gy\, some kind of cross between a woman and a swamp creature\, disturbing
the peace of mind of everyone she meets. Is she a mirage? And who are th
e Siamese quintuplets who occasionally break into the story?\n\nCanasta m
ed Hin Håle 1 1/2 is the standalone sequel to part 1\, which was a great
success with us in 2023. The Canasta med Hin Håle project is about push
ing the boundaries of theatre\, acting and existence itself. It is grotes
que\, funny and horrifying\, as if Lustiga Huset were haunted by demons.
