SUMMARY:Canasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2
LOCATION:Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra\, Brunnsgatan 4\, 11138 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:The dilapidated old house that was once Hotell Lymfnoden has
been seized by the Enforcement Authority\, which has failed to sell it. I
t is now inhabited by Einar\, who is objectum-sexual and was previously a
guest at the hotel\, and his girlfriend\, the water tank Monika.\n\nLeif
\, the enforcement inspector with a dark past and a keen interest in rack
et sports\, also finds it hard to tear himself away from the house. The t
ruth is\, he lives there most of the time.\n\nThe local authority has hir
ed psychiatrist Rainer and peer support worker Bubba to try to bring some
order to the psychosocial environment. In the middle of it all crawls Ge
ggy\, some kind of cross between a woman and a swamp creature\, disturbin
g the peace of mind of everyone she meets. Is she a mirage? And who are t
he conjoined quintuplets who break into the story from time to time?\n\nC
anasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2 is the standalone continuation of part 1\, whi
ch was a great success with us in 2023. The Canasta med Hin Håle project
is about pushing the boundaries of theatre\, acting and existence itself
. It is grotesque\, funny and terrifying\, as if Lustiga Huset were haunt
 ed by demons.
