SUMMARY:Duo Jatekok
LOCATION:Debaser Strand\, Hornstulls strand 4\, 11739 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:On 7 April 2027\, the piano duo Duo Jatekok comes to Debaser
in Stockholm with “Rammstein on the Beach”\, a concert where Rammstei
n’s music meets the rhythms and repetitive patterns of minimalism. The
performance is part of a tour covering 22 cities in Europe and the United
Kingdom. After touring the world with Rammstein\, pianists Adélaïde Pa
naget and Naïri Badal are taking their musical experience further in a n
ew concert format. In “Rammstein on the Beach”\, the power and intens
ity of rock meet the finely nuanced\, hypnotic expression of minimalist m
usic\, inspired by Monk\, Adams and Glass.\n\nThe title alludes to Philip
Glass’s opera “Einstein on the Beach”. Together with director Davi
d Gauchard\, lighting designer Antoine Travert and sound designer Clémen
t Mirguet\, Duo Jatekok creates a performance in which music\, light and
stage expression form a coherent whole. Rhythm and repetition run as a co
mmon thread throughout the concert.\n\nThe transitions between Rammstein
’s music and the minimalist works are seamless\, allowing two distinct
musical worlds to meet. The result is a concert that moves between powerf
ul energy and subtle nuances\, taking the audience along on an uninterrup
ted musical journey.\n\n18 years (13 years when accompanied by a parent o
 r guardian)
