SUMMARY:Keo
LOCATION:DEBASER NOVA\, Hornstulls Strand 4\, 11739 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Keo are part of the new wave of alternative rock from the Bri
tish Isles\, led by bands such as Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C. The Lond
on-based quartet\, fronted by the Keogh brothers\, play a form of emotion
ally driven grunge that feels largely disconnected from the genre’s ’
90s roots. Although the band never played the TikTok game\, the platform
undoubtedly became important in helping them reach a wider audience\, res
ulting in a large and dedicated fanbase\, primarily in the UK\, where the
y regularly play to sold-out crowds. In September\, the band’s debut al
bum Put a Smile on For Me was released and went straight to number two in
the UK album chart—not bad for a guitar band. We can now announce that
Keo are coming to Sweden for the first time\, for a show at Debaser Nova
in Stockholm on 6 April.\n\n18 years (13 years when accompanied by a gua
 rdian)
