SUMMARY:Ola Aurell – Mänsklighetens lyckligaste tid
LOCATION:Rival\, Mariatorget 3\, 11848 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Mänisklighetens lyckligaste tid\n\nOla Aurell tries to answe
r the eternal questions of where we really come from\, where on earth we
’re headed – and whether things might actually have been even worse i
n the past. This is a comedy concert that delves into both anxiety about
the future and nostalgia.\n\nAfter the success of Herr Aurells nästan l
ämpliga sånger\, which played to full houses across the country\, Ola A
urell is back with a brand-new musical comedy show. New songs\, new jokes
and new absurdities.\n\nHe asks us whether things were better in the pas
 t. Is dystopia just around the corner? Were older generations constantly
tipsy? Who took the last slice of tiger cake? Will artificial intelligenc
e take our jobs? Was the telephone directory the pinnacle of our civilisa
tion?\n\nThe Vasa ship’s short maiden voyage\, the hockey mullet and an
existential fear of old age sit alongside the comforting certainty that
the hip flask will at least survive the collapse of civilisation.\n\nAs a
lways\, Ola Aurell’s elegant wordplay is interspersed with bad taste\,
cheerful jibes and hidden nerdy obsessions. History\, the present day and
anxiety about the future all get their well-deserved knocks.\n\nTo raise
the bar all the way to the ceiling\, he is bringing rising stars Sand &
Hallander along on the tour. Their retro-sounding backing vocals make a s
trong impression on Ola Aurell’s new album\, due for release this winte
r\, so having them as his backing group felt like an absolute necessity.\
