 len VoNo invite you on a musical journey through the long 20th century 
 – from the classical music tradition to songs\, schlager and popular mu
 sic.\n\nRiddarhuset has been an important place for music since 1731\, wh
 en Johan Helmich Roman had Handel’s Passion music performed in the Grea
 t Hall of Riddarhuset. With this as our starting point\, we encounter the
  music and cultural figures of the 20th century in a programme where olde
 r music meets familiar Swedish tunes and popular music.\n\nThrough new ar
 rangements\, music from different periods and genres is woven together. T
 he boundaries between art music and popular music are blurred\, and famil
 iar melodies resonate in new contexts.\n\nOn 12 November\, the concert wi
