  time of the year\, filled with horror and superstition dating back to an
 tiquity. Meet Strix\, an owl-like creature said to eat human flesh and dr
 ink blood\, and Circe\, a powerful sorceress and goddess in Homer’s Ody
 ssey who turns Odysseus’ men into pigs\, to name just a few of the crea
 tures you might encounter during the evening.\n\nFriday Late is Medelhavs
 museet’s new programme of late-night events at the museum. Anything can
  happen in every corner of the museum on these evenings: there may be mus
 ic\, performance\, creative workshops\, chilling stories\, strange figure
 s appearing\, processions with saints going to see the sea\, and other ex
 citing things.\n\nThis will be an evening when you are served blood-red s
 pecial dishes\, have your fortune told by Pythia\, Apollo’s mouthpiece 
 in the dark corner of the Oracle of Delphi\, and have your fortune told t
 hrough perfume by Victor Langer\, emissary of Nefertem\, the god of perfu
 me. Listen to the terrifying mythological creatures of antiquity\, be sur
 prised by mythical creatures that make your hair stand on end in a surrea
 l performance in the spirit of antiquity\, specially created by Amanda Ce
 derqvist\, and have a drink at the bar while listening to DJ Anna Lindstr
 öm’s music from the Mediterranean. Make a protective amulet\, because 
 you’ll need one this evening…
