DESCRIPTION:SVE: What can the field of dance and choreography contribute 
 to the rehearsal of male identity? How can we think choreographically abo
 ut the construction of patriarchal structures\, and perhaps even dance ou
 r way out of them?\n\nA Study of Men is a collection of choreographic wor
 ks that explores masculinity\, patriarchy and male identity through a sha
 red performative format. At the same time\, the project examines how arti
 stic work can be produced in today’s cultural climate\, shaped by scrut
 iny\, changing conditions and limited resources. The work is an attempt t
 o practise choreography within a curatorial framework\, and to let a cura
 torial thread run through the dance itself: threading\, piercing\, joinin
 g and presenting.\n\nPontus Pettersson brings these questions together by
  reflecting\, both curatorially and choreographically\, on collectivity a
 nd responsibility. The male subject as a kaleidoscope of relationships\, 
 both scrutinised and loved.\n\nENG:\n\nWhat can the field of dance and ch
