SUMMARY:Jävla karlar
LOCATION:Bagarmossens Folkets Hus\, Lillåvägen 44\, 128 45 Bagarmossen
DESCRIPTION:Christmas 1983.\n\nAfter yet another violent argument\, seven
-year-old Andrev’s mother reveals a secret to him: his dad isn’t actu
ally his dad.\n\nInstead of being devastated\, Andrev is excited by the p
ossibilities this revelation opens up. With a child’s resilience\, he m
akes his way through life and his mother’s more or less destructive rel
ationships with different men.\n\nAndrev’s mother attracts men with an
irresistible force\, but even she can’t control how they behave. The me
n are like magicians or artists\, murderers or thieves\, and\, like growi
ng pains\, they appear uninvited and disappear without warning.\n\nJävla
karlar is a coming-of-age story filled with both darkness and humour. It
’s about a boy and his mother\, a collection of bloody men\, and not be
coming one of them himself.\n\nThe film is directed by Jens Sjögren. The
screenplay is by Jakob Beckman\, based on Andrev Walden’s August Prize
-winning novel. The producer is Fredrik Heinig.\n\nThe cast includes Alie
tte Opheim\, Filip Berg\, David Book\, Jakob Öhrman\, Victor Norén and
 Joel Spira.
