SUMMARY:Steget
LOCATION:Debaser Strand\, Hornstulls strand 4\, 11739 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:After selling out Debaser Nova around the release of their pr
evious album\, Steget are back with a new record next year. In April\, th
ey return to Debaser\, this time stepping up to Strand.\n\nEven if you do
n't know Steget by name\, you'll almost certainly recognise their music.
Perhaps you've come across the song Såna som du on a TV programme\, or h
eard their version of Ebba Grön's Flyktsoda\, which Thåström himself r
eferred to as a “Steget cover” during his 2025 tour.\n\nThe last we h
eard from the Gothenburg duo was in spring 2025\, when they released thei
r acclaimed fourth album Till längtan och horisonten\, whose singles rec
eived plenty of radio airplay in both Sweden and Norway. Now they're back
in the studio\, working on new music about everything we all carry with
us: loss\, hope\, betrayal and love. Everything we've felt and tried to u
nderstand\, both about ourselves and others. As always\, Steget's music i
s anchored by two obvious cornerstones: Nils's piano\, as solid as a glit
tering concrete foundation\, and Matilda's heartfelt\, direct vocals. Fir
mly rooted in their characteristic sound\, the duo continue to explore ne
w musical landscapes\, and say:\n\n“Right now we're in the studio worki
ng on our fifth full-length album. It's a fantastic and exciting journey\
, with old roots and new horizons. We'll celebrate by playing this spring
. See you there!”\n\nMark 16 April in your calendar\, when Steget bring
their music to Debaser Strand.\n\nAge 20 (18 with an advance ticket)
