SUMMARY:Filmklubb: The Zone of Interest
LOCATION:Torsgatan 19\, Torsgatan 19\, Stockholm\, 11321 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:In The Zone of Interest\, we follow Rudolf Höss\, commandant
of Auschwitz\, and his wife Hedwig\, who strive to build a dream life fo
r their family in a house and garden next to the camp. Against the backdr
op of an apparently ordinary life\, the film raises questions about evil\
, humanity and the ability to turn a blind eye to what is happening right
next door. At this evening’s film club\, we’ll discuss the film in t

will be led by Hynek Pallas.\n\nAbout the film club\n\nWelcome to the mus

Höss family’s everyday routines beside the hell of the camp make the
film a harrowing but fascinating study of the indifference that made the
Holocaust possible.\n\nAbout Hynek Pallas\n\nHynek Pallas (born 1975) is
 an author\, cultural critic…
