SUMMARY:Passione – Italienska sånger
LOCATION:Ersta kyrka\, Erstagatan 1\, 116 28 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Passione - Italienska sånger with Trio Nero\, Synne Vinje an
d Johan Ullén.\n\nAROUND THE turn of the last century\, the popular Ital
ian song repertoire spread across the world\, not least thanks to the ris
e of the gramophone. The tenor Enrico Caruso became the first artist to s
ell millions of records\, and alongside his operatic arias\, his recordin
gs made these songs internationally loved. The combination of opera’s e
motional intensity and popular song’s immediate accessibility makes thi
s repertoire hard to resist. 8 Although O Sole Mio is familiar to many\,
much of this treasure trove of songs has been forgotten outside Italy. Tr
io Nero wants to change that. The trio was formed in 2022 and has since g
iven several acclaimed performances. They now join us together with sopra
no Synne Vinje and pianist Johan Ullén for an afternoon of passion\, bea
utiful singing and love.\n\nPerformers: Trio nero: Lars Cleveman\, tenor\
 ; Pär Ulander\, accordion\; David Tallroth\, mandolin\, trumpet and bass
tuba. Guest performers are Synne Vinje\, soprano\, and Johan Ullén\, pi
 ano.
