DESCRIPTION:We continue our successful lecture series on women in Sweden 
 at the turn of the 20th century! This autumn’s series introduces you to
  fashion star Augusta Lundin\, advertising queen Sofia Gumaelius and wome
 n’s rights campaigner Ellen Key.\n\nOver three evenings\, you will get 
 to know important women from history whose courage\, ideas and determinat
 ion helped pave the way for future generations of women – in business\,
  in the labour market and in society.\n\nThis series offers:\n\nThree por
 traits of women – their life’s work\, motivations and significance fo
 r the development of society in their time.\n\nPerspectives on economic h
 istory\, exploring how women’s work helped change economic structures a
 nd give women greater control over their own lives.\n\nAn insight into wo
 men’s business ownership and entrepreneurship in Stockholm at the turn 
 of the 20th century. How women such as Sofia Gumaelius and Augusta Lundin
  founded businesses that challenged the norms of the day and opened the d
 oor to female entrepreneurship.\n\nTip! Make the evening even more enjoya
 ble with a warming vegetarian soup and a glass of wine at the museum’s 
 restaurant Rosengården. The special price for the evening is 160 kronor.
