 rtist\, to say the least – a surrealist rock ’n’ roller\, iconic tr
 oubadour\, guitarist\, poet\, painter and stage personality.\n\nHitchcock
  began his career with The Soft Boys in the 1970s and has since performed
  in a number of successful bands as well as working as a solo artist. Ove
 r the past four decades\, he has toured almost non-stop\, from Africa to 
 the Arctic\, and collaborated with R.E.M.\, Andy Partridge\, Brendan Bens
 on\, Johnny Marr\, Sean Ono Lennon and Jon Brion\, among others.\n\nWe ar
