SUMMARY:Fauna
LOCATION:Debaser Nova\, Hornstulls strand\, 11739 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Fauna is the music collective from Gothenburg that made its d
ebut with “Animalisk” and “Cirkel” in 2023\, and whose distinctiv
e\, propulsive sound has already earned high praise from audiences and cr
itics. Fauna creates music to lose yourself in: meditative\, immersive\,
organic\, psychedelic and danceable all at once.\n\nSince their successfu
l debut\, Fauna have kept their sights firmly on the future and performed
at a host of festivals across Scandinavia and the rest of Europe\, inclu
ding PLX (SWE)\, Beat Dage (DK)\, PHRE (DE)\, Positive Future (AU)\, Way
Out West (SWE) and Urkult (SWE)\, to name a few. Along the way\, they hav
e shared stages with acts such as Islandman\, Föllakzoid\, Bab L’Bluz\
, Fulu Miziki\, Waq Waq Kingdom and GOAT.\n\nApril saw the arrival of the
ir long-awaited debut album\, Taiga Trans. You can hear echoes of Swedish
psychedelic bands of the 1960s and 1970s\, such as Träd\, Gräs & Stena
r\, in the hypnotic\, repetitive grooves of “Bland stenar”. You hear
the mind-dissolving oxygen of vintage acid house in tracks such as “Bla
nd träden”. And you hear techno’s out-of-body euphoria in “Du ska
få se”.\n\nFauna are now gearing up for a busy 2026\, and on 30 Octobe
r we have the honour of welcoming them to Debaser Nova. Don’t miss it!\
