SUMMARY:Henrik Hjelt – Äntligen!
LOCATION:Rival\, Mariatorget 3\, 11891 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Henrik Hjelt – ÄNTLIGEN! 30 years on stage. 0 lectures. 10
0% stand-up.\n\nIt began in 1996 on a small stage in a market hall in Upp
sala. The payment was food\, but Henrik Hjelt found something far more va
luable: a buzz he has never wanted to let go of. Since then\, he has beco
me a familiar face in Swedish comedy – as the quick-witted panellist on
Parlamentet\, in acclaimed TV series and major musical productions. But
most of the time\, he has been part of an ensemble or tied to a fixed for
mat.\n\nNow he is stripping it all away.\n\nOn his first major solo tour\
, Henrik returns to the essentials. He swaps costumes and scripted charac
ters for honesty and the distinctive timing that has made him an audience
favourite across the country. This is Henrik Hjelt at his most stripped-
back – a personal stress test in which the material takes shape in the
room\, together with you in the audience.\n\n– Stand-up is the ultimate
test of yourself under pressure. It is an art form that is simple in str
ucture but extremely difficult to perform. I want to tap into that buzz I
have felt so many times\, in Uppsala 30 years ago and now\, says Henrik
Hjelt.\n\nWelcome to an evening filled with laughter\, warm self-deprecat
ing humour and plenty you will recognise from your own life. It is not fi
lm\, it is not TV – it is Henrik Hjelt\, live\, here and now. Just as i
t should be at its very best.
