DESCRIPTION:After delving as deeply as possible into “Music From The El
 der” last year\, Glickman/Marks Sthlm now winds the time machine back j
 ust over a year\, landing in 1980.\n\nIn 1980\, Kiss release “Unmasked
 ”\, the last album to feature the original line-up\, even if only on th
 e cover and in a music video. That autumn\, the band set off on a Europea
 n tour with new drummer Eric Carr. The venues are smaller than before. Sa
 les of the new album are lower than expected. A new band from England cal
 led Iron Maiden – whose career is rocketing upwards at the same time 
 – are the support act. On 9 October\, the tour reaches Eriksdalshallen 
 in Stockholm\, a so-called “holy grail” for both Kiss and Maiden fans
  in Sweden. Perhaps\, in hindsight\, the joint tour could be seen as a ki
 nd of changing of the guard in the rock world?\n\nOver a full day at Maxi
 mteatern\, we will explore 1980 from the perspectives of both Kiss and Ir
 on Maiden\, with a strong focus on their joint tour and visit to Stockhol
 m.\n\nOn stage\, the oracle Alex Bergdahl gives a talk about Kiss during 
 the “Umasked” era. Maidenpodden reunites to talk about the early year
 s of Maiden\, when the band were hungry for life. Both sessions are accom
 panied by rarely seen footage from that year.\n\nIn addition\, Nighthawk 
 will perform the entire “Unmasked” album – to our knowledge\, for t
 he first time ever in Sweden.\n\nThe event runs from 14:00 to 22:00.
