 s and von Schoultz\, as well as readings from Kalevala.\n\nPianist Matti 
 Hirvonen is one of Scandinavia’s most established pianists\, with chamb
 er music and art song forming a major part of his work alongside his solo
  career. Matti Hirvonen regularly appears at European festivals and venue
 s such as Musikverein in Vienna\, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Laeiszha
 lle in Hamburg with artists such as Nina Stemme\, Hillevi Martinpelto\, M
 iah Persson\, Håkan Hagegård and Peter Mattei\, to name a few. Matti Hi
 rvonen has been a professor of accompaniment at Kungl. Musikhögskolan in
  Stockholm\, Norges musikhögskola and Royal College of Music in London\,
  and regularly organises courses in accompaniment at Juilliard School in 
 New York. In 2014\, he was awarded the royal medal Litteris et Artibus.\n
