SUMMARY:Fortet
LOCATION:Årsta Folkets Hus Teater\, Årsta Torg 5\, 12054 Årsta
DESCRIPTION:Nine-year-old Mille has already been through quite a lot in l
ife and thinks there are more important things to worry about than going
to school every day. Instead\, since Dad disappeared\, Mille has built a
fort out of cushions and blankets. Mille promised him to “hold the fort
”\, but how do you do that? When we meet Mille\, Mum has gone out as us
ual to buy Mille’s favourite fish fingers\, but today she is taking far
too long. What if Mum doesn’t come back? What will happen to Mille the
n\, if both Dad and Mum are gone?\n\nIn the play FORTET\, written and dir
ected by Nadine Holmberg\, we follow Mille’s journey through fantasy an
d truth as they are torn between the safety of the fort and the frighteni
ng reality outside. It is an emotional struggle filled with both humour a
nd seriousness\, as Mille faces all kinds of challenges\, accompanied by
live music. When it comes to disaster preparedness\, Mille really knows t
heir stuff and shares lessons\, dangers and pitfalls in their secret live
streams. But can you really be prepared for everything? The play explores
the limits of imagination\, survival and what happens when a crisis stri
 kes.\n\nRunning time: Approx. 40 minutes\n\nAges 7 and over.\n\nProducer:
Teater Unga Roma\n\nOrganised in collaboration with Årsta Folkets Hus a
nd ABF\, with support from the City of Stockholm and the district adminis
trations of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör\, Hägersten-Älvsjö and Skarpnäck.
