SUMMARY:Fortet
LOCATION:Bagarmossens Folkets Hus\, Lillåvägen 44\, 128 45 Bagarmossen
DESCRIPTION:Nine-year-old Mille has already been through quite a lot in l
ife and thinks there are more important things to worry about than going
to school every day. Instead\, since Dad disappeared\, Mille has built a
fort out of cushions and blankets. Mille promised him to “hold the fort
”\, but how do you do that? When we meet Mille\, Mum has gone out as us
ual to buy Mille’s favourite fish fingers\, but today she is taking far
too long. What if Mum doesn’t come back? What will happen to Mille the
n\, if both Dad and Mum are gone?\n\nIn the play FORTET\, written and dir
ected by Nadine Holmberg\, we follow Mille’s journey through fantasy an
d truth as they are torn between the safety of the fort and the frighteni
ng reality outside. An emotional struggle unfolds\, filled with both humo
ur and seriousness\, as Mille faces all kinds of challenges\, accompanied
by live music. When it comes to preparing for disasters\, Mille really k
nows their stuff and shares lessons\, dangers and pitfalls in their secre
t livestreams. But can you really be prepared for everything? The play ex
plores the limits of imagination\, survival and what happens when a crisi
 s strikes.\n\nRunning time: Approx. 40 minutes\n\nAges 7 and over.\n\nPro
ducer: Teater Unga Roma\n\nOrganised in collaboration with Bagarmossens F
olkets Hus and ABF\, with support from the City of Stockholm and the dist
rict administrations of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör\, Hägersten-Älvsjö and
 Skarpnäck.
