DESCRIPTION:THE ROLLING THUNDER BAND - An evening with the music from Bob
Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue\n\n“I don´t remember a thing about Roll
ing Thunder\, it happened so long ago I wasn´t even born.” - Bob Dylan
\n\nEveryone who loves Bob Dylan knows that 1975 was an incredibly strong
year. Dylan was in top form\, his voice was at its best\, the future cla
ssic Blood On The Tracks was released\, the album Desire was just around
the corner\, and the joy of playing was greater than ever.\n\nOn 13 Febru
ary\, we bring that very feeling to life at Södra Teatern. A tribute con
cert by Dylan fans – for Dylan fans\, and above all\, fans of the Rolli
ng Thunder Revue tour!\n\nThe Rolling Thunder Revue was the tour Bob Dyla
n undertook in the USA with a large and eclectic entourage of artists in
two legs during 1975–1976. The many participants included Joan Baez (vo
cals)\, Ramblin' Jack Elliot (guitar and vocals)\, Roger McGuinn (guitar
and vocals)\, Bob Neuwirth (guitar and vocals)\, Mick Ronson (guitar)\, S
carlet Rivera (violin)\, Rob Stoner (bass) and Howie Wyeth (drums).\n\nTh
e tour was not a financial success\, but it left an indelible mark on bot
h film and record through The Bootlegs Series vol. 5 and the documentary
“Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story” by Martin Scorsese.\n\nThe
tour captures some timeless versions of Bob's greatest songs\, which the
evening's band has the great honour of performing live for the Stockholm
audience at the historic Södra Teatern.\n\nThe evening is an absolute m
ust for fans of Bob Dylan…
