SUMMARY:Lia Rodrigues – Borda
LOCATION:Stora Scen\, Barnhusgatan 12-14\, Barnhusgatan 12-14\, 11124 Sto
 ckholm
DESCRIPTION:Lia Rodrigues returns to Dansens Hus\, this time with Borda!\
n\nBorda explores the fluid nature of boundaries: geographical\, politica
l\, social and personal. It considers how boundaries are alive because pe
ople create them\, and can therefore be changed.\n\nNine dancers stand on
stage\, wrapped in/hidden among fabrics\, plastic and recycled materials
that form sculptures from previous works\; remnants of stories are given
new life. Patiently and painstakingly\, a porous space of fluid differen
ce is woven\, where boundaries flow and shift.\n\nBorda (2024) is the fin
al part of a trilogy that began with Fúria (2018) and continued with Enc
antado (2021). Borda was created at Centro de Artes da Maré\, Rio de Jan
eiro\, Brazil\, by Lia Rodrigues and Companhia de Danças.\n\nShe was las
t seen at our c/o venue Elverket with Encantado in 2023.\n\nDuration: 70
 minutes\n\nStora scen: 19.00
