SUMMARY:Dungen
LOCATION:Vasateatern\, Vasagatan 19\, 11122 Stockholm
DESCRIPTION:Dungen The new Dungen album "Vidrig vår" will be released on
25 September and is a candid\, personal account of the breakdown of a lo
ng-term relationship. "En gång i timmen" is out now as the first single
from the album\, which is among the most musically stripped-back records
they have made — a song that both sounds unmistakably like Dungen and c
harts a new direction.\n\nThis autumn\, the band will follow the album wi
th an extensive Scandinavian tour\, starting in Bergen on 22 October.\n\n
On 20 November\, the band will play at Vasateatern in Stockholm — ticke
ts are on sale now!\n\nThis year marks 25 years since Dungen released the
ir self-titled debut album\, and the new record "Vidrig vår"\, produced
by Gustav Ejstes together with long-time collaborator Mattias Glavå\, is
the band's first since 2022's "En är för mycket och tusen aldrig nog".
\n\nDungen's distinctive and dynamic blend of psychedelic rock and folk s
ounds has won them a large international audience despite their Swedish-l
anguage lyrics\, with admirers including Jack White\, Tame Impala and Fle
et Foxes.\n\nAlongside Gustav Ejstes\, Dungen consists of Reine Fiske (gu
itar)\, Mattias Gustavsson (bass) and Johan Holmegard (drums).\n\nAge res
