St Patrick's Parade

Humlegården (in front of Kungliga biblioteket/Royal Library) Come along from 14.00 to Humlegården (Royal Library side). There will be face-painting, balloons and a chance to enter competitions.
We'll have prizes for the Best Dressed Family/Pimped-Up Pram & Best Dressed Pair/Individual!

At 15.00 the parade departs led by St Patrick, his wolfhounds, the Stockholm Pipe Band and hundreds of happy people in a colourful and fun spectacle! Music and dance will follow at Kornhamns torg courtesy of Loughy and the Brian O'Connor trio and the Irish Dance Project.
Please note that many dogs participate in this parade and we ask you to refrain from using any sort of firework/party poppers and not to burst balloons near them.
The parade is hosted by the Swedish-Irish Society, in co-operation with the Irish Embassy, and sponsorship from Guinness, O'Dwyer Goldsmith, Wirströms Pub and Tourism Ireland.
