About the film
Rebecca cleans houses to make ends meet, while her real passion is secretly recording her clients. By listening in on their private moments, she builds a collection of arguments, family meetings, confessions and hookups—an array of emotions she can taste-test, rewind and revisit whenever she likes. When she meets Martin, a man who keeps himself secluded and harbors violent fantasies, Rebecca descends from her voyeuristic listening post. Unable to resist, she enters into a visceral yet contactless transaction with him—as grave as life and death, but just within earshot.
