BLUE BENDERS – LIVE AT WINTERVIKEN

One of Sweden’s most exciting blues and rock bands is back at Winterviken!

A lot has happened since Blue Benders played on our stage three years ago. They have won awards and enjoyed success both in Sweden and internationally – and this autumn they have also been selected to support Europe.

On 16 October, they return to Winterviken for an evening filled with blues & rock. If you love really good live music, you won’t want to miss this evening.

Blue Benders emerged from Stockholm’s lively blues scene and, since forming in 2021, have established themselves as one of Sweden’s most exciting live bands. With a dynamic blend of blues, rock, soul and funk, the band have enjoyed great success, including being named both “Band of the Year” and “Live Act of the Year” at the Bluespodden Awards in 2023 and 2024. They also secured an impressive second place in the European Blues Challenge 2024.

The band’s journey began when guitarists Edvin and Morris started exploring the local music scene in Gamla stan in Stockholm. When singer Samson joined, their sound began to take shape, and with drummer Oskar and bassist Johan on board, everything fell into place.

The release of their debut EP Strike One in autumn 2023 – celebrated with a sold-out concert in Stockholm – was followed by acclaimed performances at venues and events including Stockholm Pride and Debaser Strand. In 2025, the band also ventured into Europe, reaching a new international audience.

Dessert: Swedish sticky chocolate cake with whipped cream and berries stirred with sugar
