Nyfiken Blå

Nyfiken Blå take to the stage at Reimersholme Hotel! Nyfiken Blå are a Gothenburg-based band with roots in Trollhättan, made up of singer and songwriter Timmy Swenson, guitarist Erik Forsberg, pianist Axel Hemmingson, bassist John Gordon and drummer Albin Östberg.

The music is punky, poppy, energetic and sometimes delicate. The lyrics are self-effacing, festive, loving and evocative. One booker described their sound as follows: “It’s playful, intense and a little unpredictable, with a pulse that brings to mind a young bob hund, but with an expression entirely their own.”

Definite influences include Franska Trion, Velvet Underground and Rolling Stones. The name Nyfiken Blå comes from a film starring Lena Nyman.
