No Way Down

AN URBAN LEGEND BECOMES REALITY

In a deserted suburb, a boarded-up tower block gapes at the sky. After a fire and mysterious disappearances, the tower block has become an urban legend – a place people film from a distance but never set foot inside. Until someone turns on the lights on the top floors. Four young people enter. The door slams shut. What awaits them is not just the ruins of an abandoned tower block, but a ruthless killer who knows every corridor, every burnt-out staircase and all the secrets the building holds. Each floor becomes a new trap. There is no way down. There is no way out. Floor by floor, towards their doom.

Mohamed Chabane and Théo Jourdain Rhodes’ feature debut is a taut, claustrophobic action-horror film, blending slasher, urban survival thriller and suburban realism. Here, an urban nightmare meets an Alien-like sense of being trapped with something that hunts in the dark. Starring Alassane Diong, Manon Bresch and rap star Gazo, No Way Down becomes a brutal, socially charged story that delivers suspense, jump scares, bloody action and horror that gets under your skin.

In the tower, no one can hear you scream.

No Way Down has its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin in September 2026.
