När natten skänker frid

När natten skänker frid – an autumn concert with starlight, stillness and peace of mind

As the autumn darkness falls, Riddarholmens kammarkör invites you to a relaxing concert where we embrace the darkness through song.

The music evokes the stillness of evening, the distant light of the stars, the calm of night, the melancholy of dreams – and the human longing for peace.

We perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Morten Lauridsen, Josef Rheinberger and, not least, contemporary composer Karin Rehnqvist, among others. Welcome to a musical evening of forgiving darkness where the heart can find rest.

Riddarholmens kammarkör is led in this October concert by guest conductor Cyrille Nanchen.

Time: 17 October 2026 at 18.00.

Venue: S:t Görans kyrka, Welanders väg 2, Kungsholmen
