TONIGHT’S GUESTS:

MARIA ERIKSSON:

As one of the driving forces behind The Concretes, Maria Eriksson has become known worldwide for her melodic and inventive pop. After two records with the duo Heikki and two solo records under her own name and as Santa Maria, she took a break from music. Maria Eriksson returned to the stage for the first time in many years as Birgit Bidder’s guest at the autumn opening night of Klubb Molto Bene! in August.

HANNA PERSSON:

Under the alias My Sister’s Wedding Day, Hanna has released an EP featuring titles such as “Gothenburg”. Her songwriting moves between romantic teenage memoirs and reflections on how Söder has changed since her childhood near Monumentet. Hanna Persson sings backing vocals on all of Birgit Bidder’s albums and has also played keyboards with Birgit before bob hund.

ANNA-KARIN UNGER:

At the autumn opening night of Klubb Molto Bene!, Anna-Karin’s version of Mattias Alkberg’s “Tjugonde” gave the song a whole new life that moved us. She is a member of Sprak Orchestra, has a solo project as Missunger and has previously composed music for Sofia Norlin’s films “Strömmarna” and “Ömheten”. Anna-Karin has also sung and played keyboards with Maria Eriksson, The Suburban Orchestra and Svart smultron, among others.

PER NYSTRÖM:

The organist from The Concretes, Radonhem and Koltrast will be playing with Maria Eriksson during the evening and is also one of the best DJs Klubb Molto Bene! has heard!

Maria, Hanna and Anna-Karin appeared as Birgit Bidder’s guests at Scalateatern in August, and as soon as October we welcome them back with an evening of their own!

Come as you are and join in – Molto Bene!
