Welcome to a head torch adventure among ancient treasures and Viking-age heroes and monsters! Return the stolen gold goblet and stop the dragon’s rampage!

On this atmospheric guided tour, we turn off the lights in the gold room to explore it with head torches as our only source of light. We tell you about ancient treasures and how they can be linked to Viking-age tales of heroes and monsters. Follow in Beowulf’s footsteps and learn more about his battles with the swamp monster Grendel and the dragon, as well as the treasures the hero received as rewards. Discover the objects that can give us clues to ancient tales and myths!

The head torch tour is free for children, but both adults and children need a ticket for the tour. Places are limited. Adults pay admission to the museum.
