Håll käften – del 1
A film by Göran Du Rées and Christina Olofson about Tältprojektet – the largest cultural-political mobilisation in Sweden in modern times.
In the summer of 1977, a circus tent toured the country. On stage: music, theatre and the story of the labour movement. In the audience: over 100,000 people. Today, the project stands as a document of its time – but also as a mirror of our own.
The film also portrays a changing Sweden: industries close down, workers struggle, the future looks uncertain. With hindsight, it also becomes a story of what was to come – crises, restructuring and globalisation.
