Textilfest med Susanna Alakoski

Celebrate the finale of Bomullssviten! After twenty years of work, Susanna Alakoski brings her acclaimed Bomullssviten to a close with Sverigefamiljen, the fourth and final instalment in the story of four generations of women, work, migration and dreams.

Welcome to a unique literary evening celebrating the completion of the series. Together with Elisabeth Åsbrink, Burcu Sahin, Mats Söderlund and Nanny Parkrud Nilsson, Susanna Alakoski presents conversations, readings and poetry about women’s lives, work and the history of textiles.

Feel free to bring along a garment or a piece of fabric with a story of its own. During the evening, there will also be an opportunity to meet the participants and other readers.
