Stockholm - En föränderlig stad For an aerial photography assignment for Stockholms Byggnadskontor in the mid-1990s, Anders Hanser was given a map showing areas that were to be developed over the coming years.

Ten years later, Anders began to revisit some of these areas with his camera from the ground, and after more than 25 years, it is time to tell the story of the creation of four new districts in Stockholm: Hammarby sjöstad, Norra Djurgårdsstaden, Västra Kungsholmen and Hagastaden.

He has also interviewed several leading architects about the thinking behind the new districts, including Mats Egelius, Charlotte Holst, Bengt Isling, Gert Wingårdh and Alexander Wolodarski, as well as the architectural historian Martin Rörby.
