Pianoafton med Andrejs Osokins

The Latvian pianist Andrejs Osokins presents a dream programme for all piano enthusiasts, featuring some of the most beloved and pianistically challenging works in the piano repertoire: Beethoven’s large-scale, dramatic “Appassionata” before the interval, and Ravel’s demonically

colourful piano poem “Gaspard de la nuit” to conclude.

The evening’s musical journey also takes in Brahms’s darkly Romantic four ballades and Peteris Vasks’s tragic yet hopeful miniature requiem “Eine kleine Nachtmusik”.
