Danskroki med Dansmuseet

Danskroki med Dansmuseet – an inspiring combination of dance, music and art. Wednesdays 23 September, 21 October and 4 November 17.30–19.30 (including a break).

On three Wednesday evenings in autumn 2026, Dansmuseet brings its dance sketching sessions to Historiska museet.

Sharpen your pencil and your senses! With rhythm and timing, follow the dancer’s movements into the world of art. Dance sketching is a creative challenge for everyone! Both beginners and experienced sketchers are welcome.

Sketch the model as they dance to music and hold different poses for one to five minutes. The session alternates between dancing and time to sketch, with a 30-minute break. Participants should bring their own materials.

23 September - Classical ballet with Carolina Larsson

21 October - Renaissance dance with Pär Sargren

4 November - Funk and locking with Jörgen Vedeler

Price: 180 kronor, museum admission is included in the ticket price.

During the break, you can enjoy coffee and a snack or a glass of wine in the museum’s restaurant.

No admission after the programme starts at 17.30. Limited places!
