Kavla upp ärmarna för klimatet – andra cirkeln
– how we can use the election result to accelerate the transition The election campaign ends on 13 September. But for the climate, the future is already here.
Once the votes have been counted and the direction is being set, the question is not just what happens, but what we do with it. We will meet on three occasions after the election to understand the state of climate policy and start taking action together.
• Tuesday 22 September, 17:30–20:00: Exploring the issues and moving forward: Forests and land, consumption, transport – where are the challenges and opportunities? What do we notice at work, in our associations and at home? Mattias Goldmann, CEO of 2030-sekretariatet, leads the study circle
This is no traditional study circle, but it is genuine community learning.
We alternate contributions from experts with discussions around the tables – where your thoughts, experiences and questions are just as important. There is room here for both the bigger picture and matters closer to home: from political choices to what we ourselves can do in our organisations and communities.
Further sessions – from analysis to action: • Tuesday 15 September, 17:30–20:00: Election analysis and first steps: What do we see in the election result – and what might it mean for climate action?
• Tuesday 29 September, 17:30–20:00: Strategy and implementation: How do we reach more people? How do we build pressure? How do we get more people to take the climate issue seriously in their work?
We will work out the details of the programme together as we go. The best answers are not ready in advance – we will develop them together.
The aim is simple:
For you to leave with new perspectives, new contacts – and practical ways to make a difference.
The study circle is a collaboration between 2030-sekretariatet, Naturskyddsföreningen and ABF Stockholm. At a time when meeting places for shared learning and action are needed more than ever.
The climate transition is not determined by the election result alone. It also depends on what we do with it – together!
